About Us

Late Chandulal Chandrakar mini Government Industrial Institute was established on 2nd October 1997 with the operation of two trades electrician and mason under the Tri scheme and operated till 1999. In October the institute is included in the list of main ITI. Another trade COPA SCVT was conducted along with Electrician NCVT in the year 2003 and further it affiliated in 2005 from SCVT to NCVT. In 2007 trade Mechanic diesel SCVT was included and got NCVT affiliation in 2010 as one unit only. The second unit of mechanic diesel was add to training in 2020 and its running SCVT till today. Thus at present three trades are running in ITI Bemetara i.e. COPA (unit I/II) Mechanic diesel (SCVT / NCVT- 02 units) as one year course and electrician course with two units (first year and 2nd year).

The institution is the nodal ITI of Bemetara district. In Bemetara district, 5 government (1.Bemetara 2.Berla 3.Parpodi 4.Nawagarh 5.Maro) and 5 non-government ITIs are operating. The institution is receiving the benefit of IMC (Industrial Management Committee). Under this, a proposal for three trades has been received under IDP - Sewing Technology, Welder, and Stenography Hindi. The process of starting these is underway and will begin soon.


Infrastructure Details

Government industrial training institute Bemetara is spread over 9 acres in which two buildings are available, the first building is called main building in which classes and workshop are conducted and the second building is called the IMC (public partnership Scheme) building which has been built under the Government of India scheme for the up-gradation of Government ITI. A fully equipped 50 seated hostel is also available on the ITI campus.
